Throughout the year Rep. Morrison has committed to helping address the statewide blood shortage as a result of COVID-19.
Rep. Morrison’s 4th blood drive of the year will take place on Wednesday, October 28th in the Patriot Room at the Palatine Township, 721 Quentin S. Road. As a COVID-19 precaution, donors are welcome by appointment only from 1:30-6:30 p.m. In addition, blood donors will receive a free COVID-19 anti-body screening.
Interested blood donors can make an appointment to donate by visiting:
Donateblood.lifesource.org and entering group search code 517D.
Recognizing that many are still struggling during the pandemic and resulting business closures, Rep. Morrison will also be accepting donations to the Palatine Food Pantry. In addition to continually accepted food donation items, Palatine says there is a real need for laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, kleenex, toothpaste, deodorant, body wash, hand soap, and diapers.
