Biography:

Former small business owner – residential and commercial disaster cleanup and restoration; 5th grade teacher; radio news broadcaster; B.A. in History, Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, MI; first Illinois legislator to entirely opt-out of the state’s pension systems; selected to the Council of State Government’s BILLD Fellows program in 2011 and the inaugural class of the Edgar Fellows Leadership Program in 2012; married to Bethany and has four children.

Representative Morrison was the first Illinois legislator to entirely opt-out of the state’s pension systems. He was also selected for the inaugural class of the 2012 Edgar Fellows Leadership Program. He is married to Bethany, and together they have four children.
