MORRISON LAUNCHES VALENTINE’S FOR SENIORS PROGRAM

State Representative Tom Morrison (R-Palatine) is calling on local students throughout his 54th District to help send some love this Valentine’s Day to local senior citizens. Rep. Morrison is asking local students to write a Valentine’s Day card—they can be handmade or store bought—and deliver to his office in Palatine—117 East Palatine Road, suite 106—by February 4th. Morrison will then hand delivery the cards to local senior homes in district.

This is Rep. Morrison’s second annual program to spread kindness during the month of February; it was first launched in 2021 to brighten the days of seniors who had been isolated during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Last year’s Valentine’s Day program was a huge success. I am excited to again help put a smile on some faces this year with the help of our young students,” said Rep. Morrison. “The cards are a small gesture, but go a long way in helping our senior citizens—who still are navigating the tough times of the pandemic.”
